Job requirements
This is a challenging position, managing the regulatory driven joint venture company between Donjon Marine and SMIT Salvage. The position is in Houston, Texas.
- Proficient with OPA 90 regulations or affinity to working within a regulatory framework and compliance;
- Familiar with marine salvage or similar emergency response activities
- Able to lead and coordinate teams and to communicate well with domestic and international clients and colleagues
- Communicate and liaise with USCG, Qualified Individuals, Hull and Machinery insurance, PandI clubs, Ship Owners, Ship Managers in the context of OPA90 Salvage and Marine Firefighting compliance
- Contracting experience (comfortable reading, understanding, editing etc.)
- Basic finance and reporting skills
- Well organized
- Strong writing skills
