Donjon Marine has been continuously awarded the primary NAVSEA SUPSALV contract for salvage services in the Western Hemisphere since 1980.
The contract covers Zone A, which encompasses the North and South Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of America, the Mediterranean, the Black and Baltic Seas, and the Suez Canal, together with all harbors and navigable waters draining to the coast within these areas — including the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes.
The award positions Donjon as a key commercial partner supporting the U.S. Navy’s global salvage, diving, towing, and search-and-recovery capabilities, reinforcing the company’s long-standing role in maritime info@donjon.comy response and ocean engineering services.

About the Contract
Issued by NAVSEA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., the contract covers a broad scope of operational and non-operational services, including:
• Emergency salvage and salvage-related towing
• Harbor clearance
• Heavy-lift operations
• Point-to-point towing
• Ocean engineering support
Under the terms of the contract, Donjon will maintain the capability to perform at least two simultaneous operations across these zones and meet strict response-time requirements for emergency situations, while complying with all applicable cabotage laws in each operational region.
