Yorktown, VA – Donjon Marine congratulates Tug Casey Ann Chief Engineer Josh Riddick on winning the Maritime Throwdown Wildcard Qualifier at last month’s Yorktown 250th celebration.
With this win, Josh has earned an official spot at the 2027 Maritime Throwdown Finals at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, May 11-13 next year. The competition will take place during the 2027 Inland Marine Expo (IMX27).
When asked for a quote about his accomplishments, Josh thought of others and asked that fellow Donjon crewmembers Dwayne and Donovan Hart also receive recognition, as they could not attend.
“We all started this together last year and tried to make it to the 2026 event,” stated Josh.
“Next year we plan to have New York Harbor representing in full force.”
Josh will be competing against returning champion Gavin Spencer along with the rest of the field for a $10,000 cash prize.
